Kovacevic claimed by Montreal Canadiens

Former Merrimack defenseman Johnathan Kovacevic was claimed by the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday. The Winnipeg Jets had placed Kovacevic on waivers Friday, which was required due to his tenure in the league and age if they wanted to move him to the AHL.
