Kovacevic scores first NHL goal

Former Merrimack defenseman Johnathan Kovacevic scored his first NHL goal last night in Seattle, as the Montreal Canadiens beat the Seattle Krakken 4-2.

Kovacevic has appeared in 23 games for the Canadiens this season and now has one goal and three assists from the blue line. He’s averaging a little more than 17 minutes of ice time per game.
