Liam Fitzpatrick commits to Merrimack

Merrimack received a commitment on Thursday from 2005-born forward Liam Fitzpatrick.

Fitzpatrick’s brother, Caelan Fitzpatrick, is a freshman at Merrimack this season. Liam will play for the Brooks Bandits (BCHL) again this season after his junior hockey debut last season. In 34 games, Fitzpatrick had 14 points (9g-5a).

Two years ago, with the Moose Jaw Warriors in the SMAAAHL, Fitzpatrick scored 73 points (37g-36a) in 44 games. He was SMAAAHL First Team All-Star, the league’s MVP and top forward.
