Long Island at Merrimack: Warriors look to close out the first half with back-to-back wins
Merrimack will look to secure the season series against Long Island and close out the first half of its schedule with back-to-back wins tonight at Lawler Arena, as the Sharks visit North Andover for a 6 p.m. puck drop.
LIU was idle on Friday night, while the Warriors enter the matchup coming off a 4–1 home victory over Yale.
The Sharks earned a win at Lawler Arena in late October, but the Warriors answered last month with a decisive 6–2 victory on Long Island.
“I just want us to play hard,” Scott Borek said. “If you don’t play hard against them, you’ll lose. Down at LIU, we played a very strong, heavy game. The results showed it. Here, when we played them, I didn’t feel that way.”
