I’m going to get back into weekly mailbags now that we’re into the hockey season (and soon to be basketball season).

This week’s mailbag includes the following questions:
I just saw the news about [Jacob] Frasca leaving. Are you worried about our forward depth now? Especially with injuries?
Will the proposed bill in Congress to limit NCAA sports to only American athletes pass? I feel like that would impact [Merrimack] quite a bit with so many Canadian players.
When it comes to Hockey East, I see that we are losing more nonconference games than we are winning right now. Is that a big concern for NCAA Tournament bids?
Is there any word on when Parker Lalonde might be back in the lineup?
If Lalonde does come back this weekend, what do you do with the lines? Daneault looked good on his line and scored those two goals this weekend. How would you slot everyone?
Who do you start in goal? Keyes or Feldbergs?
Q. I just saw the news about [Jacob] Frasca leaving. Are you worried about our forward depth now? Especially with injuries?
Honestly, after what I saw this weekend, no. Injuries are a different story, and the Warriors really need to stay healthy now. But I thought all four freshman forwards who made their debuts looked very good, and Merrimack had some good forwards, Michael Emerson, Parker Lalonde and Ryan O’Connell, out of the lineup.
As long as health doesn’t become a concern, I think they’ll be OK.
