Maine Preview: Tale of the Tape, Keys to the Series, and Game Notes

Merrimack travels to Orono, Maine this weekend for a pair of games against the Maine Black Bears.

Maine is coached by first-year head coach Ben Barr. The Black Bears have yet to earn Barr his first career win behind the bench (0-6-1-1) but they’ve played three straight one-goal games. Barr was formerly the associate head coach at UMass, which won the national title last year. Barr also helped recruit teams at Union and Providence that went on to win national championships just one year after he left those programs.
