Matthew Dabrowski commits to Merrimack
Merrimack received a commitment over the weekend from 2007-born forward Matthew Dabrowski.
Dabrowski was one of the standouts at the Select Camp last month. Neutral Zone gave him an A- for his performance, which included two goals in the All-Star game.
Originally from Shelton, Conn., Dabrowski had 74 points (34g-40a) in 74 games for the New Jersey Rockets 16U AAA team this season. He joined the Rockets in 2023 after playing for the Mid Fairfield Rangers, one of the top youth organizations in New England.
Dabrowski was drafted by the Halifax Mooseheads in the first round (No. 17 overall) in the QMJHL American Draft. He becomes Merrimack’s third 2007-born recruit, following C.J. Watroba and Brendan Espenell.
