Merrimack adds Tanner Sorenson to the coaching staff
Tanner Sorenson has been added to the Merrimack men’s hockey coaching staff.
Sorenson, 31, wrapped up his playing career last season with the Kalamazoo Wings (ECHL), where he played alongside former Merrimack forward Jordan Seyfert. Merrimack head coach Scott Borek said Sorenson served as a player/coach last season.
“He brings a lot to our staff,” Borek said. “He has recent playing experience, which will connect him well with our players. Dan and Jimmy both knew him really well, and I actually recruited Tanner when I was at UNH. He’ll bring a lot to our staff on the ice and will be filling some roles as Director of Hockey as well.”
