Merrimack football will open the 2024 season at Air Force

Merrimack football will open the 2024 season at Air Force on August 31. The game will mark the first meeting between the programs and will be Mike Gennetti's debut as head coach.

The game will also mark just the second time Merrimack has faced an FBS opponent. Air Force will be Merrimack's biggest FBS opponent to date after the Warriors traveled to UMass this past season.

Air Force is part of the Mountain West Conference. The Falcons are currently 8-4 and will face James Madison in the Armed Forces Bowl on Friday.
