Merrimack football will play at Delaware in 2026
Merrimack football will travel to Delaware in 2026, according to a report from HeroSports.com’s Daniel Steenkamer.
Delaware is one of the top FCS programs in the nation. The program has won six national championships (last came in 2003) and appeared in the FCS national championship game in 2007 and 2010.
Last season, the Blue Hens went 9-4.
By the time this game happens, Delaware will be an FBS team. In 2025, the program is moving to Conference USA.
NFL alums include quarterbacks Joe Flacco and Rich Gannon.
The game will be played at Delaware Stadium, which seats 18,500 fans. Last season, the team averaged 15,563 fans per game.
