Merrimack picked No. 9 by HEA coaches
Merrimack was selected to finish No. 9 in Hockey East by the Hockey East Coaches in the league’s annual coaches poll. The Warriors were selected ahead of Maine and Vermont.
UMass was picked to finish atop the league with BU, BC, and Northeastern rounding out the top four.
BU (1) and BC (2) received first-place votes in addition to UMass (8).
