Merrimack picked sixth in MAAC preseason poll; Clark named Preseason All-MAAC
On Tuesday, Quinnipiac was picked as the No. 1 team in the MAAC preseason poll. Merrimack was picked to finish sixth as the Warriors enter their first year in the league.
Quinnipiac was the consensus choice as the No. 1 team in the preseason, receiving 11 out of 13 first-place votes.

— Budd Clark was selected as Preseason All-MAAC First Team. Clark was the only Warrior to receive an individual preseason honor.
McMahon: I was a little surprised that Merrimack was picked sixth in the league and that Clark was the only individual honoree. However, I also understand the politics of preseason polls, and the Warriors are the new team on the block.
