Merrimack-UConn games postponed

This weekend’s series between Merrimack and UConn has been postponed due. The games were called off due to COVID protocols within the UConn program, according to sources.

“Hockey East and the member institutions are currently working to reschedule these two league games at a later date,” Hockey East said in a statement.

Merrimack said that refunds and exchanges for tonight's game will be handled through the Merrimack Athletics Box Office.

According to The UConn Blog’s Daniel Connolly, “Mike Cavanaugh said yesterday ‘a couple players’ were in COVID protocols but I’m told the outbreak has increased since then. It’s more than just players now.”
