Nick Pierre commits to Merrimack
Nick Pierre, a 2004-born forward from Minnesota, has committed to Merrimack.
Pierre was recently traded to the Cedar Rapids Roughriders in the USHL. He has played the last two seasons for the Sioux City Musketeers. Pierre has three points (2g, 1a) in 18 games this season but he had 20 goals and 38 points (20g, 18a) last season as a 17-year-old. Included in that tally was the overtime winner which gave Sioux City last year’s Clark Cup Championship.
