Nils Wallstrom will participate in development camp with the Colorado Avalanche next month, according to a report from Mark Divver.
Wallstrom, 20, transferred to Merrimack this spring after he spent his freshman season at AIC.
After arriving from Sweden in 2022, the 6-foot-3 netminder played one season in the NAHL for Kenai River. He was one of the top freshman goalies in the country last season, only trailing BC’s Jacob Fowler in save percentage.
Wallstrom was named Atlantic Hockey All-Rookie after he appeared in 33 games and posted a 2.27 GAA and .920 save percentage.
Good for him. Apparently has some talent.
