Notebook: Merrimack knocks off BU in WHEA playoffs

The Merrimack women’s hockey team beat Boston University in overtime on Wednesday night to advance in the Hockey East playoffs. Teghan Inglis forced a turnover at the offensive blue line and the puck found its way to Alexa Pongo, who finished the night at the 8:58 mark of the overtime period.
