Notre Dame and Quinnipiac scheduled to visit Merrimack next season
The non-conference schedule for Merrimack men's hockey isn't set in stone, but a few games have been signed for the 2025-26 season.
First, the Warriors will host Notre Dame. It will mark the first meeting between the programs since Jan. 14, 2017, when the Fighting Irish were members of Hockey East.
The Warriors played the Irish eight times while they were Hockey East members from 2013-17 and went 2-5-1. This will be Notre Dame's first visit to Lawler Arena for a non-conference game since 1991.
Merrimack and Notre Dame also matched up in the first round of the 2011 NCAA Tournament.
Notre Dame will play the Warriors as part of a two-game weekend that includes a matchup against Boston College at Conte Forum.
The Warriors are scheduled to travel to Notre Dame for a return trip in 2026-27.
The Warriors will host Quinnipiac for the first time since 2015. Merrimack played a home-and-home series with the Bobcats in 2014 and 2015.
The Warriors last met the Bobcats in the first round of the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
The Warriors will return the trip to Quinnipiac for one game in 2026-27.
Details on more games should become available in the upcoming weeks.
