Player Preview: Nikita Borodayenko

Over the next few weeks, we’re going to preview the new members of the Merrimack men’s hockey program.

Next up is forward Nikita Borodayenko, who I believe is Merrimack’s first Russian-born player since Alex Sikatchev, who graduated in 2003. The Warriors had another Russian player - Alex Semenov - who was committed and slated to arrive for the 2005-06 season but he never made it to campus and instead played pro hockey in Russia for four seasons.
