Playoff #1 Lineup: Merrimack vs. Maine
NORTH ANDOVER — The Merrimack men’s hockey team begins the 2022 postseason tonight at home against the Maine Black Bears. Merrimack and Maine are meeting in the postseason for the first time since 2012, when the Black Bears won a best-of-three series in Orono. The last time the Warriors and Black Bears met at Lawler Arena in the postseason was 2011, when the Warriors swept a best-of-three series en route to the Hockey East semifinals at TD Garden.
Hugo Ollas will make the start in net for Merrimack. Ollas started Saturday’s game against Northeastern.
