Pregame: Merrimack aiming for first series sweep on the road at UConn
The Merrimack men’s hockey team is in Storrs, Conn. today to take UConn. The Warriors won the first game of the series last night, 4-1, at Lawler Arena and are aiming for their first weekend sweep of the season.
No lineup changes up front for the Warriors today. Not that they have many options with only one healthy scratch. Max Lundgren started between the pipes last night (we mistakenly reported Nils Wallstrom). Wallstrom will get the net today.
Ethan Bono scored two goals last night for the Warriors. David Sacco netted the game-winner early in the third period and Antonio Venuto scored his second goal of the season in the second period. Lundgren made 34 saves.
