Pregame: Merrimack at Dartmouth
HANOVER, N.H. — The Merrimack men’s hockey team will open the second half of the 2022-23 season tonight against Dartmouth at the Ledyard Bank Classic.
The tournament, which is hosted by Dartmouth, also features Yale and Providence. Merrimack’s opponent tomorrow will be determined by today’s results. The Warriors will play at 4 p.m. tomorrow regardless of their opponent.
The ECAC has a streaming contract with ESPN+ and both games this weekend will stream on that platform.
Merrimack enters tonight’s game 13-4 on the season and last time out the Warriors beat Providence, 3-2, on Dec. 10. Dartmouth is 1-10-1 on the season, and the Big Green lost eight straight games heading into the break. Dartmouth’s lone win was on Nov. 4 against Yale.
Dartmouth fell to Vermont, 5-1, in its final game before the break on Dec. 11.
