Pregame: Merrimack at Providence
PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Merrimack and Providence will meet tonight at Schneider Arena. The puck is set to drop at 7 p.m.
Tonight’s game will air on NESN.
Merrimack will dress predominantly the same lineup it did against UMass on Wednesday night. One exception is that Tyler Young will dress as the extra skater in place of Trevor Griebel, which means the Warriors will roll with six defensemen in this game.
It’s also expected that Zachary Borgiel will make the start in goal for the Warriors after Hugo Ollas started against UMass on Wednesday night.
Merrimack enters tonight ranked No. 5 nationally in the Pairwise. Providence checks in at No. 11 in the Pairwise rankings.
