Pregame: Merrimack hosting Sacred Heart in exhibition opener
NORTH ANDOVER — Merrimack opens its men’s hockey season today against Sacred Heart. The Warriors are dressing every healthy player in today’s game, with a handful of players swapping in and out of the lineup mid-game.
Merrimack student manager Spencer Marquis is dressed as an emergency backup goalie. The Warriors will be without Max Lundgren for the first two games of the regular season and Nils Wallstrom is out of the lineup with an injury, which leaves Ryan Keyes as the only healthy goalie on the roster for the season opener tomorrow against Stonehill.
