NORTH ANDOVER — The Warriors will unveil their 2026 Hockey East championship banner tonight before the home opener against New Hampshire.
It will be the first championship banner raised at Lawler Arena in 37 years. The last came in 1989, when Merrimack won the ECAC East championship.
Merrimack and UNH are both coming off season-opening losses to Quinnipiac. The Warriors fell 6-3 on Saturday night, while the Wildcats lost 10-2 the night before.
There are a few lineup changes for Merrimack. Jacob Frasca moves up a spot to center Justin Gill and Trevor Hoskin.
The Warriors will dress 12 forwards and seven defensemen. Linards Feldbergs will make his Lawler Arena debut after starting the season opener and making 35 saves.
