Pregame: Merrimack travels to No. 1 Boston College
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Merrimack is on the road tonight, taking on No. 1 Boston College. The Eagles and Warriors will conclude the home-and-home series at Lawler Arena on Saturday night.
The Eagles are the No. 1 team in Pairwise, the NCAA's model for NCAA Tournament participation and seeding. They are the No. 2 team in KRACH, an alternate ranking methodology not sponsored by the NCAA.
Nils Wallstrom is listed as the starter for the Warriors. Wallstrom made 17 saves in a win over Dartmouth on Sunday. Jacob Fowler will start for Boston College. The Eagles have been off since Dec. 9, although six players played in the World Juniors for Team USA.
