Pregame: Merrimack vs. Boston College
NORTH ANDOVER — Merrimack and Boston College open a home-and-home series tonight at Lawler Arena. The puck will drop at 7 p.m. tonight and the series will conclude on Saturday afternoon (1 p.m.) at Conte Forum.
Zach Bookman will return to the Merrimack lineup tonight (we told you about that in our “10 things” preview). He’s back with Mike Brown on a pairing.
Up front, Merrimack’s lines look mostly similar to the way they did on Saturday against UMass. The only change is that Ryan Leibold will move to center on his line and Tristan Crozier will move to the wing.
Hugo Ollas will start in goal for the Warriors. He enters tonight’s game with a 2.44 GAA and .895 save percentage. The Eagles will counter with Mitch Benson, who has played every minute thus far and has a 2.56 GAA and a .910 save percentage.
