Pregame: Merrimack vs. Boston College

NORTH ANDOVER — Merrimack and Boston College will face off in the Hockey East quarterfinals tonight at Lawler Arena. It’s a do-or-die game for both teams. Merrimack is currently No. 15 in the Pairwise, but a loss to BC would drop them out of NCAA Tournament consideration. The Eagles enter tonight’s game No. 24 in the Pairwise.

Merrimack’s lineup is identical to last week’s game against Vermont. Hugo Ollas (2.48/.920) will start in goal for the Warriors.
