Pregame: Merrimack vs. Providence

NORTH ANDOVER — Merrimack and Providence begin a two-game series tonight at Lawler Arena. The puck is scheduled to drop at 7 p.m.

There are some lineup changes for the Warriors. First, Mac Welsher will be in the lineup tonight. He missed last Saturday’s game against Brown with an injury. Liam Dennison will also make his season debut tonight as the extra skater.

Matt Copponi is not in the lineup tonight. The word is that it’s a coach’s decision.

Zachary Borgiel is the projected starter for the Warriors, assuming that Scott Borek sticks to the goalie rotation we’ve seen for almost the entire season.
