Pregame: Merrimack vs. Yale
NORTH ANDOVER — Merrimack will welcome Yale tonight at Lawler Arena. The puck is set to drop at 7 p.m.
Mark Hillier will make his return to the lineup after he missed Saturday’s game against Providence. Merrimack head coach Scott Borek was very confident earlier in the week that Hillier would be able to make his return tonight. That will move Ryan Leibold back to left wing where he’ll skate with Tristan Crozier and Jordan Seyfert and Mick Messner will skate as the extra forward.
Defensively, Merrimack has not made any changes.
Zachary Borgiel is the projected starter for the Warriors based on their goalie rotation. Yale lists Connor Hopkins first on the line charter, but the goalies are also listed numerically so that doesn’t mean he’s necessarily the starter. Luke Pearson has started the last four games for the Bulldogs.
Merrimack (14-5-0): Ranked No. 6 in the Pairwise
Yale (2-10-1): Ranked No. 60 in the Pairwise
