Pregame: Warriors head to Hanover to take on NPI No. 1 Dartmouth
HANOVER, N.H. — The Warriors roll into Thompson Arena this afternoon looking to hand undefeated Dartmouth (7-0) its first blemish in non-conference play. The Big Green arrive as the No. 1 team in the nation according to the NPI — the metric the NCAA now relies upon to seed and select teams for the national tournament — and they’ve earned that perch with a torrid start to the season.
The Warriors will ice a revamped lineup. Michael Emerson, Benny Yurchuk, Joey Henneberry, and Matthew Campbell all draw in, while Ty Daneault remains sidelined with an injury.
Between the pipes, Max Lundgren is the projected starter, as Nils Wallstrom continues to be unavailable.
Dartmouth, fresh off a 7-2 dismantling of Vermont last night, will look to keep its perfect record intact.
