Pregame: Warriors make some lineup changes ahead of final regular-season home game
NORTH ANDOVER — Merrimack will play its final regular-season home game tonight when the Warriors host Northeastern.
Merrimack can clinch home ice in the first round of next week’s Hockey East playoffs with at least one point tonight. The means the Warriors will clinch home ice if the game is tied at the end of regulation (no matter the OT result) or if the Warriors win outright.
Max Lundgren is expected to get the net again for the Warriors. He has been Merrimack’s starter since Feb. 1 against UMass Lowell and this will be his eighth straight start.
Merrimack’s lines had some shakeups from last Saturday against Providence. Hunter Wallace will dress tonight and skate with Antonio Venuto and Ethan Bono (who moved back to center after playing the wing on Saturday).
