Pregame: Warriors set to host UMass looking for sixth straight win
Merrimack is back at home at Lawler Arena tonight for the first time since mid-December, and the Warriors are looking to extend their winning streak to six games.
UMass enters tonight’s game with an identical record to Merrimack (10-10-0).
The Warriors are rolling out the same lineup as last Saturday’s 5-2 win over Holy Cross.
Merrimack head coach Scott Borek enters the weekend sitting on 99 career wins with the program, with a chance to collect No. 100 behind the Warriors bench. When Borek gets his next win, he’ll become the fifth head coach in Merrimack history to reach 100 victories, joining Ron Anderson (255), J. Thom Lawler (218), Mark Dennehy (168), and Bruce Parker (100).
