Preview: Merrimack at St. Lawrence

The Merrimack men’s ice hockey team will open the 2022-23 season tonight against St. Lawrence at Appleton Arena in Canton, N.Y.

St. Lawrence opened its season last weekend. The Saints fell to UMass Lowell, 4-0, at Tsongas Arena. Gustav Davis-Grigals made 27 saves to earn the shutout for Lowell. Emil Zetterquist allowed three goals on 18 shots for the Saints (Lowell added an empty-net goal). St. Lawrence outshot Lowell 27-22.
