Preview: Merrimack hits the road to face UConn

The Merrimack College Warriors will hit the road for the first time since opening night when they travel to Storrs on Saturday to face Connecticut.
Merrimack is coming off a weekend split against Long Island and Quinnipiac, while the Huskies face Harvard tonight (Friday) after splitting a pair with Boston University last weekend.
“It’s an unorthodox weekend for us,” said Mike Cavanaugh, the UConn head coach. “You have to be comfortable playing two different opponents on consecutive nights.
“Right now, we’re focusing on Harvard. The best way to prepare for Merrimack is to play well against Harvard.”
