Preview: Warriors continue difficult Hockey East stretch against Providence
Merrimack begins a home-and-home series at Providence tonight, with the matchup shifting back to Lawler Arena on Saturday.
The Warriors are coming off last weekend’s set against Boston University. BU won in overtime on Friday, and while Merrimack nearly erased a three-goal deficit on Saturday, the rally fell one goal short.
The Friars, meanwhile, earned a win and a tie against UConn last week in their own home-and-home series.
