Previewing Hockey East's Third Tier
Our 2022-23 Hockey East preview begins today. As I have in previous seasons, I’m predicting a 1-11 order for the Hockey East standings, but as we saw last March, many of these teams are very close together at the end of the season and they’re only separated by a few points. The tiers represent a ceiling and floor for each potential team. Essentially, I wouldn’t be surprised if any team finishes anywhere within the tier I have them placed.
For example, for this tier (9-11), I’m previewing the teams in the order I think they’ll finish, but I believe they all have a ceiling of 9th and a floor of 11th.
