Quinn Kwasniak, all-time leading scorer in Ohio, commits to Merrimack
Cornerstone Christian (Ohio) guard Quinn Kwasniak committed to Merrimack on Monday. The 6-foot-4 shooter is Ohio’s all-time leading scorer, totaling 3,342 career points.
Who held the record he broke? Only some guy named LeBron James.
Kwasniak is also the state’s leader in all-time 3-point shots (572). He scored 1,115 points just this past season, averaging a whopping 37.2 points per game as a senior, which included 183 3-point shots.
Kwasniak scored 53 points in the district championship game and scored 38 points in the state title game this spring (Cornerstone Christian finished as the state runner-up). He was originally committed to Army.
Kwasniak’s addition to the roster gives the Warriors (by TMR’s projection) 14 players. The new roster caps, which will be instituted (in some form) by the NCAA under the House settlement, will cap college basketball rosters at 15 players, which leaves the Warriors room for one more addition (if they choose).
