Recruit Report: Battaini traded to Waterloo

Merrimack recruit Chris Battaini was traded to the Waterloo Black Hawks last week. Battaini was traded for Adam Zlinka, who is a 2022 Arizona Coyotes seventh-round pick.

"We felt like this trade was a fit for both teams and the individuals involved," said Black Hawks General Manager Bryn Chyzyk. "Z was extremely respected by both our staff and our players, and we wish him all the best in Des Moines. Chris is a younger player that we are excited to build with."
