Recruit Report: Caden Dabrowski scores first USHL goal

Merrimack College recruit Caden Dabrowski wasted little time making an impression in the United States Hockey League, scoring his first career goal and racking up four points in the Dubuque Fighting Saints’ 9–1 rout of the Omaha Lancers on Saturday night.

The Illinois native, who committed to the Warriors in mid-August, showcased the offensive instincts that made him one of the more intriguing 2008-born forwards in this year’s USHL draft class. Dabrowski was a dominant force at the 16U level last season, posting 86 points in 68 games for the Chicago Mission AAA program before Dubuque selected him in the fourth round of the 2025 USHL Entry Draft.

For now, the recruit report is organized by birth year. Later this season, I’ll shift gears and begin projecting the 2026-27 class.
