Recruit Report: Easton Daneault scores two for Lethbridge

Merrimack recruit Easton Daneault scored a pair of goals this past week for the Lethbridge Hurricanes (WHL), including a power-play goal against the Edmonton Oil Kings last night (Dec. 16). Daneault is on pace for 45 points as a 17-year-old, and currently has 22 points in 37 games. Daneault is currently ranked No. 18 in WHL scoring among 2008-born players.

Below is this week’s full statistical Recruit Report. Before diving into the chart, here are a few key points to keep in mind:

Age: This is defined by a player’s “season age.” For example, if a player was born in 2008, he is in his “Age 17 season.” Players in their Age 20 season will exhaust their junior hockey eligibility at the end of the current campaign.

Leagues: The chart is organized by league level to provide the most accurate comparative data.

  • Tier I Juniors includes the WHL, OHL, QMJHL, and USHL.

  • Tier II / Jr. A includes the NAHL and BCHL.

If a player has changed teams or leagues, his previous league entry is highlighted in yellow.
