Recruit Report: Mercier one of several Warrior recruits to shine on opening weekend
Junior hockey dropped the puck in full force over the weekend, and several of Merrimack’s recruits wasted no time making an impact.
Alex Mercier paced the action with five points for the Moncton Wildcats (QMJHL) in a pair of games. Mercier is one of 13 Merrimack commits who will skate in the CHL this season. Luke Goukler turned heads with his five-point weekend for the Chicago Steel at the USHL Fall Classic.
For now, the recruit report is organized by birth year. Later this season, I’ll shift gears and begin projecting the 2026-27 class.
