Recruit Report: Vockler named SJHL Player of the Week
Jacob Vockler was named the Player of the Week in the SJHL last weekend after he scored seven goals and added two assists for a whopping nine points in just two games.
Vockler, who we have projected as a 2024 recruit, helped the Flin Flon Bombers sweep the La Ronge Ice Wolves. Vockler, who is from South Dakota, had five points (3g-2a) on Friday night and then four points (all goals) on Saturday night. Vockler now leads the SJHL with seven goals.
In other recruit news, defenseman Cole Longacre, who we have projected as a 2025 recruit, was dealt to Salmon Arm in the BCHL. He’ll join fellow Merrimack recruit Cole Cooksey as a member of the Silverbacks.
