Sacred Heart retains John Jaworski, planned transfer to Merrimack canceled
John Jaworski was set to transfer to Merrimack for next season, but the Sacred Heart center was retained late in the process by the Pioneers, sources tell The Mack Report.
Jaworski had 26 points (10g-16a) for the Pioneers last season.
Transfers are verbally committed until they sign a financial aid agreement for the upcoming season.
The late change from Jaworski opens up a forward spot for the Warriors in next year’s class. It’s still being determined if that spot will be filled by a freshman or another transfer.
