Takeaways from Merrimack's 6-3 loss to UMass Lowell
NORTH ANDOVER — UMass Lowell beat Merrimack 6-3 on Saturday night at Lawler Arena.
Caelan Fitzpatrick and Michael Emerson scored their first collegiate goals for the Warriors and Trevor Griebel added a power-play goal.

First, it’s great to see the power play get going. The Warriors will need that unit to average as close to one goal per game as possible. So that’s a positive.
But re-watching the game, I still believe there are concerns on offense.
The Warriors managed just 12 shots on goal at 5-on-5 (26-12 Lowell) and were held to under 20 shots on goal for a second straight game overall.
