No.
But Merrimack needed a win — badly — and the Warriors took care of business against UConn on Friday night at Lawler Arena.
Here are my takeaways:
— Emotionally, this felt like a big boost for the Warriors, coming off back-to-back shutouts and three straight losses.
You saw it most when Ethan Bono scored his first goal. We’ll see if the Warriors can carry that momentum forward on Saturday, but this team needed an emotional boost, and Friday provided that.
