The Warriors open their 2026-27 home schedule Thursday night against New Hampshire.
Both teams are coming off season-opening losses at Quinnipiac. Merrimack went 2-0-1 against UNH last season and is unbeaten in the last six meetings between the teams (4-0-2). New Hampshire’s last win in the series came Feb. 3, 2024.
UNH has not won at Lawler Arena in nearly seven years. The Wildcats’ last victory there came Oct. 25, 2019.
There probably isn’t much to take away statistically from one game, but there is at least some value in comparing the two teams because they played the same opponent on the road on back-to-back nights.
