Brett Seney is off to a hot start with the Toronto Marlies, the AHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Seney has four goals in four games for his new team. There were also reports out of Winnipeg that former Merrimack defenseman Johnathan Kovacevic impressed in training camp and could be on the shortlist for a potential NHL callup this year should the Jets have injuries on defense.
