NORTH ANDOVER — Merrimack defeated Providence, 3-0, on Saturday night at Lawler Arena behind goals from Trevor Griebel, Mac Welsher, and Alex Jefferies.
“It was a really good effort,” said Merrimack coach Scott Borek. “We’re pretty happy to get this W, because obviously, things have been a bit of a struggle for us recently.”
Merrimack improved to 15-7-1 on the season while the Friars fell to 12-6-6.
