BOSTON — Aidan McDonough’s goal with 1:32 remaining held up as the only goal of the game as Northeastern completed a weekend sweep of Merrimack with a 1-0 win on Saturday night at Matthews Arena.

Zachary Borgiel made 23 saves for the Warriors. Devon Levi had 37 saves to earn the shutout.

Merrimack fell to 15-9-1 (10-5-0 HE) and the Huskies improved to 12-9-3 (10-4-2 HE).
