Trio of Merrimack players win Hockey East weekly awards

Hunter Wallace (Rookie of the Week), Max Lundgren (Goaltender of the Week), and Zach Bookman (Defender of the Week) were all awarded weekly honors by Hockey East on Monday.

Wallace scored his first two collegiate goals in Merrimack’s win over UNH on Saturday night.

Lundgren won both of his starts this weekend for Merrimack, stopping 24 of 25 shots in Merrimack's 2-1 overtime win over Boston University on Friday, before stopping 30 shots in Merrimack's 5-4 win over New Hampshire on Saturday.

Bookman had points in both games this weekend, assisting on Caelan Fitzpatrick's game-winning goal against Boston University, and he added two more assists, including on David Sacco's game-winning goal on Saturday.
